Arsenal Friday night, Nigerian time, Saturday, August 5, beat Crystal Palace 2 – 0 on their first European Premiere League (EPL) match.

Crystal Palace in the second half, though a goal down, had a near total control of the game, but could not score.

Credit must be given to Arsenal defence which was almost totally impenetrable in the second half.

Arsenal fans must have got their hearts in their mouths as Crystal Palace dominated almost endlessly.

But in the 82nd minute of the match, Arsenal took over control for a few seconds, and Saka, converted a beautiful pass to a goal when the Palace defender deflected the Saka’s shot into their net.

With that goal, Arsenal sealed a 2 – 0 victory.
