The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential campaign train stopped in Akure, Ondo State on Wednesday, for a massive rally of enthusiastic party men and women, trooped out to welcome the standard flagbearer and former Vice President, His Excellency, Atiku Abubakar.

Atiku and the presidential campaign council (PCC) members were received at the Rally, which held at the MKO Abiola Democracy Park, Akure, the Ondo State capital by the State’s Party Chairman, Eyitayo Jegede, National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba, Retd General Olagunsoye Oyinlola and members of the State Working Committee.

Present at the rally were the presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and his wife, Titi Abubakar; the running-mate, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, who is also Governor of Delta State and PDP Chairman, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu.

Others are PCC Chairman, Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa-Ibom, newest addition to PDP’s governors ranks, just sworn-in Governor Ademola Jackson Adeleke of Osun State and members of NEC of the party.
