The 2024 edition of the Annual End-of-Year Thanksgiving Love Feast by the Womb of Intercession International Fellowship was a profound celebration of faith, intercessory prayer, and fellowship. Held on Friday, November 29, at George Crescent Estate, off Wemco Road, Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos, the event brought together devoted women of faith who have dedicated themselves to spiritual intercession for nations and communities.

Under the anointed leadership of the chief convener, Mrs. Patience Eworo, the event was a resounding success. Participants were deeply inspired and recommitted to the fellowship’s mission of addressing societal challenges through fervent and prevailing prayers. The atmosphere was charged with spiritual energy, as the women engaged in prayers, worship, exhortation, and testimonies, offering heartfelt gratitude to God for His faithfulness throughout the year.

The highlights of the event included Intercessory encounter where empathetic prayers were lifted for families, communities, and nations, emphasizing the fellowship’s mission of standing in the spiritual gap for societal transformation.

One of the guest minister, Pastor Sola Yusuf, a humble and highly anointed servant of te Lord, delivered a powerful exhortation, urging women to incorporate intercessory prayer as a daily practice of their faith. He highlighted how biblical examples of women’s travailing prayers have brought immeasurable blessings to families and communities.

Other activities were Praise and Worship from a live band which led soul-lifting worship and praise, igniting joyful dancing and a spirit of celebration among attendees.

During the time of refreshment, there was light Bible Quiz Competition. It was a friendly and engaging quiz session that tested participants’ knowledge of scripture, fostering camaraderie and deepening their understanding of God’s Word. The women enjoyed some games and exchanged thoughtful gifts, enhancing the spirit of love and unity.

The attendees expressed their joy for the opportunity to eat of the spiritual manna served the by the specially chosen prayer leaders and ministers who delivered powerful teachings on intercessory ministry which gave them an incredible experience of spiritual rejuvenation like never before.

According to the convener of the Womb of intercession, Mrs. Patience Eworo, “this kind of annual love feasts are significant for spiritual renewal, growth and community building.”

The Womb of Intercession International Fellowship Inner Chamber continues to be a pivotal force in intercessory ministry, not just in Nigeria but globally. Through the visionary leadership of Mrs. Eworo, the fellowship has cultivated a strong community of Christian mothers and sisters, encouraging them to uphold their families and communities in prayer. The fruits of their efforts have been evident in the harvest of souls and renewed commitments to prayer.

Currently, the Ministry has six prayer cells which they aptly call Platoon Altars in Lagos state and others states like Edo, Benue, Oyo, Akwa Ibom and Abuja.

Apart from coming together to pray, the Womb of Intercession International Fellowship has a dedicated non-governmental organization (NGO) called the Saxifrage Foundation, that’s aimed at empowerment and also, ‘raising and building the next generation with Godly inheritance”. Programs under the NGO are ‘Rescue the Youths’ and ‘Save A Nation’. Additionally, it hosts a focused initiative called ‘Royal Daughters’, with a mission to help ‘the girl child to know and understand her divine purpose and rise to the responsibility’. The foundation has undertaken several intervention efforts, such as sharing foodstuffs, clothing, sundries and paying school fees for the less privileged, among others.

The organizers emphasized the interdenominational nature of their ministry, welcoming all women seeking a deeper walk with the Lord, regardless of their Christian affiliations. Upholding the Bible as the absolute authority, the fellowship fosters a spirit of unity and inclusiveness, which has been pivotal to its successes and growth over the years.

Chief convener, Mrs. Patience Eworo, highlighted the ministry’s commitment to inclusivity, stating: “We are open to renewed engagements with more intercessors to save our families and communities.” This approach has strengthened the fellowship’s resolve and created a harmonious community of faith-driven women united by their mission of intercession.

The 2024 End-of-Year Intercessory Love Feast provided attendees with more than just a time of prayer and celebration. The event left participants spiritually enriched and motivated to continue the work of intercession, embodying the teachings of Christ and reaffirming their commitment to the fellowship’s mission of transforming lives and communities through prayer.

I can attest to the length this Woman of God will go to ensure that the place of righteousness is enthroned in our mind and lifestyle.   3. Indeed WIFF has remained focus to the vision God gave to His daughter, fondly called Sis P;matching on and resisting steadfast the gates of hell in the pursuit of the kingdom assignment.
