The Coordinator who addressed journalists on what the new year portends for Ndigbo, declared that the new year would usher peace, prosperity, and unity for the people.

“As we step into the new year, I extend my warmest greetings to all Igbo people (Ndigbo) residing in the 19 Northern states and the FCT. May this year bring us peace, prosperity, and unity.

“As we celebrate the dawn of a new year, I would like to remind you that our great organization, Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, is on the brink of a significant milestone.

“On January 10th, we will be electing a new President General and other executive members to steer the affairs of our organization.
