By a definitive expansion of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Babalakin & Co. launched a national Art Competition to spotlight and uplift emerging Nigerian artists working in painting, drawing, and sculpture.

With over 250 submissions already received from across the country, the initiative has drawn wide acclaim for its role in discovering and nurturing artistic talent. The final exhibition will feature 26 exceptional shortlisted works, each a powerful representation of the vibrancy, culture and creativity flourishing in Nigeria’s art scene today.

The evening will culminate in a Prize Giving Ceremony, where the top three winners will be awarded generous cash prizes thus: ₦5 million for First Place, ₦2.5 million for Second Place and ₦1.5 million for Third Place. In addition, a ₦1 million People’s Choice Award, to determined through public voting, will be presented, ensuring that community engagement and appreciation of the arts are central to the celebration.
