Tinubu says Nigeria’s livestock sector worth over $32 billion annually
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu spoke at a livestock summit in Abuja. He said Nigeria has more than 910 million livestock including cattle, goats, sheep and poultry. According to him, the sector contributes over $32 billion yearly to the economy. He promised new investments in ranches, veterinary services and cold chain facilities to reduce farmer-herder clashes.
