Big Brother Naija star Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has reportedly been arrested by the Nigeria Police Force in connection with allegations she made against a man on social media.
The reported arrest was disclosed by movie producer and Chief Executive Officer of Best of Nollywood, Seun Oloketuyi, who claimed that the reality TV star was picked up at her residence in Ajah, Lagos.
According to Oloketuyi, Tacha was arrested after allegedly failing to honour three invitations from the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre between May and August 2026.
However, the reported arrest has not been independently confirmed by the police.
Tacha’s manager also said he could not confirm the arrest, adding that he had been unable to reach the reality star.

“I can’t confirm her arrest. I’ve also been trying to reach her,” the manager told P.M. NEWS.
Oloketuyi had earlier claimed in a social media post that Tacha was arrested in the early hours of Sunday after allegedly ignoring the police invitations.
The development is reportedly linked to a controversy that began in March 2026, when Tacha accused an unidentified man of rape and child molestation in a social media post.

Reports also linked her allegations to claims that the man was involved in trafficking young people to Europe under the guise of offering scholarships.
The man reportedly denied the allegations and claimed that the accusations had affected his employment opportunities, including a prospective job abroad.
As of Monday, August 31, details of the alleged investigation remained unclear, while the police had yet to publicly confirm Tacha’s reported arrest.
