FG RELEASES CATA PAYMENT TO ACADEMIC STAFF IN FEDERAL INSTITUTIONS
The Federal Government has commenced the disbursement of funds to settle the accumulated Consolidated Academic Tools Allowance for eligible academic staff in federal universities, polytechnics and colleges of education nationwide. The payment covers several months owed. The Ministry of Education also confirmed that arrangements are in place for the corresponding allowance for non-academic staff, with funding expected to be made available in the coming weeks.

The Nigeria Immigration Service intercepted two persons in Adamawa State with a large sum of cash.
