The phone call, which was confirmed by official sources from the Defence Headquarters, provided relief to both the Nigerian Army and the public.
President Tinubu expressed his pleasure in hearing from Lagbaja and wished him a speedy recovery.
Despite earlier fake news regarding his death, which had been refuted by the Army Headquarters, the conversation confirmed that Lagbaja is alive and recovering well.
