Barrister Bridget Edokwe, a frontline candidate for NBA Publicity Secretary in the upcoming Nigerian Bar Association general elections has sent a message of felicitation to celebrate strength, dedication, and the love of Nigerian fathers on the occasion of Father’s Day.
In a comical sense of appropriating the Day’s celebration, she said, “when dads are lawyers, they make a superman look like an apprentice”, highlighting the wisdom, resilience, and unwavering commitment to justice which are inherent qualities of a good father.
Barrister Bridget Edokwe, who cut her legal teeth in professional practice is a tough and strong analytical mind who has become one of the leading voices of contestation for gender inclusiveness which she expresses would create a brighter and more equitable future for Nigerian Bar profession.
Fondly called ‘Barr Brige’ by her admirers, she hopes to bring much activism, performance and a glittering professional image to bear on NBA when elected to the office of Publicity Secretary.
