The Deputy Governor of Edo State, Rt Hon Comrade Philip Shaibu, continues his tradition of holding a monthly prayer session with members of his staff and friends of the family. This monthly prayer session took place on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at No. 7, Osadebey Avenue, G.R.A, Benin City.

During these sessions, the Deputy Governor and his family express gratitude to God for the blessings of the past month and seek divine guidance and protection for the upcoming month. This tradition has been ongoing since he assumed office as the Deputy Governor of Edo State.

For this particular prayer session, several Reverend Fathers from different parishes within the Benin Archdiocese were present to lead the prayers and offer spiritual guidance. It appears to be a meaningful and regular practice for the Deputy Governor and his family, emphasizing their commitment to their faith and spirituality.
