After a nationwide consultative search, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of the 26 persons as Senior Special Assistants.
The new appointments which are reflective of the geo-political balance in the country are comprised of domestic and personal aides.
The new appointees are:

- Sadiq S Jambo SA Economy (VP Office)
- Dr. Muhammad Bulama SSA Special Duty (VP Office)
- Mahmud Muhammad Personal Assistant Domestic North-East (VP Office).
- Ahmed Ningi SSA Digital media and emergency management (VP Office)
- Musa Amshi Muhammad Al-Amin SSA Special Duties (VP Office)
- Mr Hakeem Muri-Okunola as PPS.
