Gov. Obaseki Felicitates With Edo Children

The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki has sent a special message of felicitation to Edo children at this year’s Children’s Day celebration.

Obaseki’s heartfelt message resonates deeply and highlights the importance of investing in the future of our children, noting that the “sustained investments as well as bold and pragmatic reforms in the education sector over the past eight years, we have transformed the way our children learn and improved learning outcomes, ensuring they are fully empowered.”

I heartily felicitate with our children as we celebrate this year’s Children’s Day.

Our children are our greatest assets as they are the future of our dear State and Country, which is why we have spared no resource at building a vibrant State with critical institutions, structures and systems to assure a better future for them.

Through our sustained investments as well as bold and pragmatic reforms in the education sector over the past eight years, we have transformed the way our children learn and improved learning outcomes, ensuring they are fully empowered to harness their boundless energy and limitless potential, and compete favourably with their peers across the globe.

With over 400,000 of Edo pupils and students benefitting from our basic education reforms, we are embolden to sustain the gains so far recorded and will continue to place the interest and welfare of our children as top priority in our policies and programmes.
