Leading human capital development consultant and sought-after politician, Obong Ide Owodiong-Idemeko has sent a message of hope to encourage and inspire Nigerians to greatness, notwithstanding the current challenges being faced by the people, noting that it is a temporary situation.
Owodiong-Idemeko who’s also the founder of the 1001 Plus Voices Initiative, a democracy advocacy group to inspire, develop and empower people, in a statement said, Nigeria is a nation of great possibilities that can be explored with the right kind of leadership that would inspire the people to draw out their positive can-do spirit, no matter, the obstacles.
“We are truly a great nation of good people but need the right kind of leadership at this junction of time, especially when we look at the global shift in how people communicate and create unbelievable programs that truly inspire others thereby empowering them to explore all the linkages available in the various strata of the society for growth”
“Hence, the imperative to get involved in the democratic processes expressed in our Constitution to elect people to represent us in the various levels of government. This is achievable with a simple step of action by getting the Permanent Voters Card (PVC), which gives Nigerians the power to change the direction of the democratic train and elect a government that will usher in a new Nigeria that works for all of us”, said Owodiong.
Furthermore, Owodiong-Idemeko tasked the people to put all the contending presidential candidates in a critical thinking box, in order to ascertain which of them have policies and the right programmatic thrust to change the fortunes of this country for the better and thus, vote accordingly.
Importantly, he applauded the indefatigable courage of Nigerians to keep going despite the economic difficulties, noting that no condition is permanent and saying there’s light at the end of the tunnel.
