The burial and funeral of an illustrious son of Obuno Ndiagu Kingdom in Akpugo Nkanu, Enugu State, Maduabuchi Nnaji has been released.

Abuchi as he is fondly called passed-on unto glory at the age of 39 after undergoing an unsuccessful surgery in one of the hospitals in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Speaking on behalf of the bereaved family, Chief Peter Nnaji, the Afunnwa Elotanna of the community, addressed journalists to that effect and announced that the burial rites of the deceased will begin on 2nd day of March, 2025.
Speaking with an emotionally laden voice, and describing the death of Abuchi as loosing a star among the nuclear family of their father, Chief Cyril Nnaji, Chief Peter Nnaji informed that until his untimely death, Abuchi was an English and Literary Studies graduate from the prestigious University of Maiduguri, Nigeria.
Due to the love he has for impacting knowledge, Maduabuchi Nnaji, according to him took up a teaching profession in one of the secondary schools in the FCT.
He added that he uses his extra time to give lectures to students of some universities.
While praying to God to receive and accept him in His blossom and give them all it takes to bear the links, the Afunnwa Echetanna inbred friends and we’ll wishers to join him give his Junior brother a befitting burial, as well as pray for his wife and children.
Left to mourn the deceased were his wife, children, mother, brothers and sisters.

Recalled that in a condolence message, the monarch of the Obuno Ndiagu Kingdom, HRH, Igwe A. C. Okoh, while urging the deceased’s family to bear the loss and leave the rest to God Who according to him knows the best, the monarch therefore prayed that God be in control before and after the burial. He pledged to ensure that with God, he will play his role during and after the burial.
