The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors’ Forum has expressed condolences and offered support to Plateau State in the aftermath of the violent attacks in the wake of the Christmas eve in Bokkos, Mangu, and Barkin-Ladi Local Government Areas.

As a gesture of empathy with the State, the governors contributed N100 million to demonstrate their solidarity and commitment to aiding the survivors of the tragic incidents.

Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, as the Chairman of the Forum and Governor of Bauchi State, led the delegation and emphasized the importance of addressing security challenges through the establishment of State Police. His call for state-specific security measures and the plea to the Federal Government and security agencies to intensify efforts reflect a concern for the overall security situation in the country.
