Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu of Lagos State has approved the postponement of the annual Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) Townhall Meeting on security, which is on its 18th edition to December 18, 2024.The meeting was initially scheduled for November 28, 2024, at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The event is usually a platform for Lagos State Governor together with heads of security agencies and other critical stakeholders to interface, providing the opportunity for the Lagos State Security Trust Fund to give a comprehensive account of its stewardship in the year under review.
The theme for this year’s meeting is “Data & Technology Driven Security: The Way Forward”, which aims to promote the security of the state.

With the new schedule announced, attendees are expected to be seated by 10.30 a.m. at the new venue, Lagos House, Ikeja, on the said date.
The LSSTF has issued a statement apologizing for any inconvenience caused by the postponement and appreciates the support and cooperation of all stakeholders to ensure the success of the event.
