Senator Solomon Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, representing Ogun West Senatorial District, has officially obtained the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship nomination forms for the 2027 Ogun State governorship election. The forms, costing N50 million, were picked up on his behalf on Tuesday in Abuja, signalling his formal entry into the race for the state’s number one seat.
The APC National Organising Secretary, Suleiman Argungu, declared the sale of forms open and personally presented the Expression of Interest and Nomination forms to Adeola’s representative. The move comes as political activities gradually intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections, with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) already releasing the timetable for the polls.
