Popular socialite and nightlife entrepreneur, Pascal Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chief Priest, has formally declared his intention to contest for a seat in the House of Representatives in the 2027 general elections.
Okechukwu announced his ambition to represent the Orsu, Orlu, and Oru East Federal Constituency of Imo State under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Speaking on his political aspiration, the celebrity barman stated that his decision is motivated by a desire to serve his people rather than for personal enrichment.
“I am not coming to steal money; I want to add mine to the constituency,” he said, emphasizing his commitment to improving the welfare and development of his constituency.

Okechukwu’s declaration comes amid his growing involvement in political activities aligned with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election campaign.
In February 2026, he was appointed Imo State Director of the City Boy Movement (CBM), a youth-oriented support group backing Tinubu’s re-election bid.

The group described him as a strategic mobilizer with strong grassroots appeal, noting that his influence could help strengthen political engagement and advance the administration’s “Renewed Hope” agenda.
