He emphasised that the state government operates strictly within the provisions of the procurement laws and ensures that every project delivers “value for money” to the people of Osun.

‎According to him, all infrastructure projects funded by the state are visible, verifiable, and directly beneficial to residents across the 30 local government areas.
‎The spokesperson specifically rejected claims that Governor Adeleke spent N92 billion on feeding, describing the allegation as baseless and mischievous.
‎“It is a lie from the pit of hell,” Rasheed said, adding that such claims reflect either “mischief or financial illiteracy.”

He explained that government expenditures are spread across multiple agencies and sectors, making it inaccurate and deceptive to lump all spending under one item or attribute it solely to the governor’s office.

‎Rasheed also accused opposition figures of opposing the state’s “local content” policy, which prioritises the engagement of Osun-based professionals and contractors in the execution of government projects.
‎He said the administration remains committed to empowering local engineers, artisans, and businessman through infrastructure development and other interventions.

‎The spokesperson maintained that all ongoing projects including roads, bridges, schools, and health facilities meet acceptable engineering standards and are comparable to best practices across the country.
‎He cited some completed and ongoing projects such as bridge constructions and road dualization works, arguing that their quality is evident for all to see across the state.

He said these investments are aimed at improving standard of living and driving sustainable development across Osun State.
‎The spokesperson also accused opposition groups of attempting to frustrate governance by seeking control of local government funds, describing such moves as politically motivated.
‎He reiterated that despite these challenges, the Adeleke administration remains focused on delivering measurable results and improving the standard of life for the people of Osun state.
