By the Gamma signing, the artist, whose debut hit “Mr Money” launched him firmly on the path of success, now operates under his own label imprimatur, Giran Republic, has taken a bold step toward independence and international reckoning. He had hinted earlier in February this year during the release of another single; “Why Love” under his own label that he would be departing YBNL/Empire, the platform that midwifed his rise to stardom.

Gamma manages and distributes content for A-list international artistes like Usher, Rick Ross, Snoop Dogg and several others. Signing Asake on its fresh distribution relationship is gleaned by many entertainment commentators as a new vista for the Nigerian singer’s global reach.

“This is a joint venture distribution deal. Gamma is not a record label,” sources within Gamma Africa confirmed.

This strategic alliance has added Asake to several other African artists leveraging more interactive access on the global stage. Prominent Nigeria artists already enjoying this benefit includes Burna Boy and Davido. Expctedly, the Gamma exposure would enable Asake explore merchandising opportunities in lifestyle branding to expand his ambition to other profitable ventures that will reinforce his premium.
