President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed shock over the reported kidnapping of five newborn babies in Anambra State.
Buhari ordered security agents to solve the abduction of the babies and the rising crime rate in the area without delay.
The reported kidnapping occurred at Stanley Hospital, Nkpologwu in the state. The attackers picked the babies and zoomed off.
Condemning the incident, Buhari said: “This case must be solved immediately.”
A statement by Buhari’s spokesman, Garba Shehu, quoted the President as saying, security at hospitals must be full-proof so that attacks of this nature do not recur.”
