So, be a “fool” for Christ, and you will be wise for all eternity. You are not only a fool; you are also dead. The dead have no feeling for the world and its hurting emotions.

Just imagine! Someone hurts you, but instead of fighting back, you choose to forgive them show them kindness, and turn the other cheek just like Jesus taught in Matthew 5:39. This goes against what most people would do when they’re mistreated. Some might think it’s a sign of weakness, but in reality, it takes a lot of inner strength, wisdom, and love to respond this way.

Jesus talked about this idea in the Sermon on the Mount. He wanted people to understand that being right with God isn’t just about following rules, but about showing love, mercy, and grace to others. He wanted us to break the cycle of violence and respond to evil with goodness. Even when Jesus Himself was treated unfairly and hurt, He didn’t fight back. He showed us that turning the other cheek is about choosing love over revenge.

But that doesn’t mean we should let people walk all over us. It’s more about having a loving attitude, even in tough situations. Jesus stood up against injustice and spoke out against wrong things, but He did it with love and without seeking revenge.

It shows that love is stronger than hate. It proves that real strength comes from responding like Jesus did, with love and self-control. It is a good thing because it shows God’s wisdom. It’s about choosing love over getting even, peace over fighting, and eternal rewards over temporary satisfaction.

The Bible tells us that the wisdom of this world might seem smart, but in God’s eyes, it’s not the best way to live. So, let’s follow Jesus’ example and choose love and forgiveness, even when it’s hard.

And Moses? He abandoned a fancy life of royalty to lead a group of slaves through the desert, believing in God’s promise to save them (Hebrews 11:24-27).

David was a regular shepherd boy but he slew a giant with just a sling and some stones, trusting in God’s power (1 Samuel 17).

Remember the Apostles, who gave up everything to follow Jesus. They faced tough times, but their faith changed the world (Acts 4:13), and we are witnesses.

To most people, these guys seemed silly. But they had something special – faith in God. And because of that faith, they saw amazing things happen, promises came true and got eternal rewards.

Jesus might have seemed like a fool to many. People made fun of Him, called Him names, and even killed Him. But He was the smartest of all. His death brought life, His sacrifice brought redemption, and His comeback showed that God’s wisdom always wins.

Jesus showed us that true wisdom isn’t about being powerful or rich, but about following God, being humble, and loving others. If you try to save your own life, you’ll lose it. But if you give up your life for Jesus, you’ll find it (Matthew 16:25).
