…Billed To Speak At Bayelsa Peace Conference Ahead of November 11 Governorship Election

Founder and General Overseer of Salvation Ministries, Port Harcourt Rivers State, Pastor David Ibiyeomie has expressed deep concern for the cause of the Ijaw Nation, saying that Bayelsa State and the entire Ijaw ethnic nationality has been a huge burden to him spiritually and physically.
Pastor Ibiyeomie who made the remark when he received the Pentecostal Fellowship Of Nigeria PFN Committee on Good Governance and Politics, led by the the chairman, Apostle Kiyaramo G Timiebi and other members in his office at the church headquarters in Port Harcourt on Friday, commended the Bayelsa PFN for its peace drive culminating in a peace conference on November 6, 2023, preceding the November 11 gubernatorial election in the homogeneous Ijaw speaking state.
The Clergyman observed that the entire Ijaw land has suffered so much set back in all sectors of life, including politics, business, the military and in all walks of life, saying that God’s hands need to be released for the complete liberation of the Ijaw people.
Pastor Ibiyeomie who accepted the invitation to speak at the forthcoming Bayelsa Peace Conference in Yenagoa slated for November 6, called on all aspirants and stakeholders to come together to engage themselves during the peace dialogue being organised by the PFN Committee on Good Governance and Politics set up by the chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria Bayelsa State chapter to interface with candidates in the November 11 gubernatorial election
“Out of my deep concern for the Ijaw man and love for Bayelsa State, I resonate with the peace drive of your Committee on Good Governance and Politics, I have accepted your invitation to come as a speaker at the Bayelsa Peace Conference. I will set aside every programme slated for that date (Nov 6, 2023) in order to be part of this PFN visionary epoch making Conference”, Pastor Ibiyeomie assured the Committee members.
Pastor Ibiyeomie used the committee as a point of contact to pray for Bayelsa State, the Ijaw Nation, and the Christian community, declaring that the Ijaw man will no longer suffer diminishing returns.
Earlier, Chairman of PFN Committee on Good Governance and Politics, Apostle Kiyaramo Timiebi had told the Pastor David Ibiyeomie that the Committee which was inaugurated by the chairman of Bayelsa State PFN, Pastor (Dr.) Tam Seth Eyedoude), is to interface with candidates of the various political parties in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Bayelsa State on November 11, and that the committee was in his office to officially invite him to speak at the forthcoming Bayelsa Peace Conference slated for November 6th in Yenagoa ahead of the November 11 gubernatorial election.
Apostle Kiyaramo said the conference is organised by the PFN Committee on Good Governance and Politics to bring together the key stakeholders in the democratic process, including the candidates of the political parties, heads of security agencies, traditional rulers, spiritual fathers, political leaders, the media, captains of industries, youth leaders, women leaders, community leaders, and representatives of political parties to have a peace dialogue in preparation for the November 11 gubernatorial election.
“The sole purpose of the Bayelsa Peace Conference is to foster peace through dialogue with all candidates and their followers. We strongly believe that the outcome of the conference will bring about peace and harmony, before, during, and after the election with a view to positioning Bayelsa for greater developmental strides.
“PFN is none partisan in its advocacy for a peaceful, none violent election. We stand to mediate as spiritual fathers to ensure that the process is free and fair to provide a level playing field for all participants. We know you as a forthright and uncompromising spiritual father, who is respected by all stakeholders, “Apostle Kiyaramo explained.
