In a recent exclusive interview with DDNEWS, Pastor Michael Chuzie Chukwuezi, the spiritual leader of the Voice Angel Bride Tabernacle, VABT, in Suleja, Niger State, Nigeria, shared deep insights into the mission, growth, and spiritual foundation of his ministry. Speaking with passion and conviction, Pastor Chuzie discussed the Church’s commitment to spreading the Gospel, nurturing faith-based community development, and addressing the spiritual and social needs of the people of Suleja and beyond.
1. Can you introduce yourself to us?
My name is Michael Chuzie Chukwuezi. By the special grace of God, I’m a preacher of the Gospel and have been in this mission field for over four decades now, since 1984. I had this very peculiar calling into the ministry at a very young age and I started in a local Pentecostal church in Jos, capital of Plateau State, Nigeria before moving over to Suleja, Niger State in 1993 to pastor the church which is now known as the Voice Angel Bride Tabernacle.
2. Thank you. Can you tell us about Voice Angel Bride Tabernacle Church and its mission in Suleja, Niger State, being in a core northern State of Nigeria where Christians have had a challenging time practicing their Faith?
The Voice Angel Bride Tabernacle Church, as the name implies, has a very specific objective in its establishment, as it is dedicated to the end time Voice Message of Revelation 10: 7 and Malachi 4:5-6, which we believe are all fulfilled through the uncommon ministry of Rev. William Marrion Branham. Actually, in the area of religious tolerance in this northern part of the country, we have been here for over 30 years and by the special grace of God we have not witnessed any harassment as regards practicing our faith. There has been a very considerable understanding and cooperation with the locals, so far. And we trust God that we will continue to enjoy such a peaceful environment in this part of the country for the continued propagation of the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
3. How does your Church follow the endtime prophetic ministry of Rev. William Marrion Branham?

Just as I had earlier mentioned, the Church is fully dedicated to the teachings of the Prophet Messenger William Marrion Branham. Of course, we know that today, there are various schools of thought regarding his teachings and the Revelation of the Seven Thunders which the Bible promised would be revealed at the end time through the ministry of the seventh angel, to get the church ready for the rapture. According to his teaching, the messenger of Malachi 4: 5-6 and Revelation 10: 7 is to do two things. One, he will turn the hearts of the children to the fathers, and two, he will reveal the mystery of the seven thunders, which are the revelations contained in the Seven Seals. And indeed, it is this divinely revealed mystery-Truth that literally turns the heart of the children back to the Pentecostal fathers. Exactly so. So, we believe he revealed the entire mystery of God just as the Bible said his ministry would do.
4. How do you interpret Rev. Branham’s teachings on the Bride, the Message, and the end times?
Having said that about the ministry of William Branham, we know that in every age, when God sends a messenger, he raises wonderful helpers to help spread that message to every nook and cranny of the earth. Wonderful helpers that would not misinterpret the messenger’s message or alter the objective of the ministry. They would be men who have been faithfully taught to say what the messenger said. This is where it gets very interesting because in every age, after the messenger is gone, fallen angels who kept not their first estate creep into congregations seeking to pervert the already laid-out truth and sooner or later, the message is no longer pure. And that’s where the battle lies today, in keeping the message pure and original, free from men’s ideas and interpretations. And on that note, the Prophet said, God’s Word doesn’t need any interpretation. God interprets His Word by manifesting it. And that’s where the false and counterfeit are expressly exposed and distinguished from the Truth. The message of the seventh angel is a calling out Voice, from Babylon, confusion, and preparing a people for the Rapture before the Great Tribulation of which the world is headed that direction, anyway, as stated the Scriptures.
5. Can you share your views on the significance of Rev. Branham’s prophetic ministry in today’s world?
Oh dear. The world today, is in a mess as we speak. Whether religiously, politically, economically, morally and whatever yardstick of decency one can use. There’s no soundness anywhere. Nothing but a putrefying sore. And what we must note scripturally speaking is, at the end of every world system, before God sends judgement, He always sends a warning. And God’s Prophets are always the warning sign. The Bible definitely said, as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be at the end. Noah was a warning sign before the collapse of that age. So, also is it today. Bro Branham’s ministry fulfilled certain prophecies of the Bible, majoring on the second coming of Christ which must not be ignored. For instance, in 1933, while Rev. Branham was baptizing the 17th person after his Revival outreach, a Voice spoke from heaven which was so direct, saying; ‘As John the Baptist was sent to forerun the first coming of Christ, so are you sent with a message to forerun the second coming of Christ.’ That’s right. So, you see that modern events today are being made clear by prophecy. Some notable events that have happened in recent times were all prophesied by Brother Branham. Take for instance, the recent election of the new Pope from America, Pope Leo XIV, was a prophecy of the Prophet since 1954. Or do we talk about the ascension of Kamala Harris to the Vice-Presidential seat of the United States of America? it was all prophesied by Brother Branham even to the very cloth she wore for her inauguration. A royal-like purple. In the religious circles, we can well attest that Brother Branham in his Messages, also addressed the moral decadence of our society and the decay of religious institutions, aptly termed the great falling away from the real truth of the Gospel into fantasies and money-making schemes. It is from this gloomy world scenario that the Lord sent him to call out a Bride for His name’s sake.
6. Interesting. So, what’s your advice to readers on how they can apply Rev. Branham’s teachings in their daily life?

My advice to anyone who is privileged to come across this Message, is to humbly believe this servant of God and take his instructions very seriously. Bro. Branham never spoke by himself but was directed by the Angel of the Lord. He had the ‘Thus Saith The Lord’ for this generation. Be very careful not to interpret anything he said but wait on the Lord for the manifestation. God will surely interpret his word in your life by manifesting it.
7. Sir, how does Voice Angel Bride Tabernacle Church engage with the local community in Suleja where you operate, primarily?
As a church body, the commission has always been to spread the good news of redemption. We have that mandate. The Scripture says, ‘how would the people believe on whom they have not heard? And how would they hear except someone preaches it to them? And how would someone preach it except he is sent? So, we see ourselves as the sent ones to spread the light of the seventh angel’s message and that’s what we have been doing over the years.
8. What specific outreach programs or initiatives does your church have to serve the community and contribute to the spiritual growth and development of the area?
Here, at the Voice Angel Bride Tabernacle, we hold regular church services three times every week, ostensibly to enhance believers’ spiritual growth. And we also, host an annual convention every year during the Easter holidays. And periodically, we organize groups outreach programs at certain times on specified dates, though, pre-planned, apart from individual evangelism efforts. We have also ventured into printing some tracts and evangelism leaflets to help us disseminate the Message in our locality. So, we share these leaflets and some other available materials like sermon books of the Prophet to interested individuals. We do undertake dedicated charitable initiatives as logistically possible. All of these, have been very impactful to the local community and beyond. And so far, it has been a very tremendous experience. It’s been a blessing indeed, I can tell you.
9. What personal experiences or insights have shaped your appreciation of Rev. Branham’s ministry?
As an individual, I came across the Message of Rev. Branham in the mid-eighties as a Pentecostal preacher. In fact, as at then, the many flaws we see today in the Pentecostal world were not as pronounced as they are now. Though, with a clear mind, one could see the tendency and where it’s all shifting to as can be seen visibly, today. But studying Brother Branham’s Message exposed the seed of corruption within the framework of the Pentecostal movement. I saw the Bible in another light. I can literally say and testify that the Bible became a New Book altogether, after coming in contact with Brother Branham’s teachings. I saw the ministry as a call to complete sacrifice rather than self-aggrandizement. Believe me, I have personally had several supernatural encounters as Brother Branham prophesied severally that those who truly follow his Message will experience. If you recall that the supernatural Light of God always followed the Prophet and was photographed uncountable times in his life. That is real. The same occurrence, in some measure, has been happening here in this ministry at Suleja. On several occasions, that Light has been photographed. And many other supernatural healing encounters have taken place. Time would fail me to go on to enumerate some of the deep spiritual experiences but it’s truly real. I hope the discerning would understand and still see me as your brother.

10. What are your plans and aspirations for the growth and development of Voice Angel Tabernacle Church?
One of the most important desires in my heart, which I would consider an achievement in my life, is to see a Church standing in the power of the Spirit, with the pure truth of the word of God as preached to us by God’s vindicated Prophet William Marrion Branham. An example of Apostolic Church as it was in the Book of Acts. Then, to see a group of people living by that word. And in order to achieve that, it calls for a more dedicated approach to the word of God and prayer. That is exactly what we are currently doing. Since July 2009, by a supernatural instruction, the Church has been on its knees in daily devotional prayers every morning and evening strictly dedicated to the Bride ministry, both here in Suleja and around the world. It’s an online prayer group open for everyone who is interested. We observe one hour prayers in the morning and one hour in the evening. “Oh won’t you watch with me for one hour?’, said our Master.
11. How do you see your church playing a role in the global endtime prophetic movement?
This is a hard one to say but the Lord revealed to the Prophet that there’s a power coming into the Church to lift her up off this earth in a rapture. And when the power of this Church rises, it will bring its brethren. That’s the promise we are all looking forward to. And believe me on this, that power could rise from anywhere, maybe in a small group or big group, it matters not to God. It could even be in a prayer meeting somewhere as the prophet said, that third pull power must surely rise. He said, ‘wait till the Seven Thunders utter their voices to that group who can take the word. The power would be unlimited. Coming only for the true word Bride’. He said ‘when the bride is called, elected and set in the book of life, there will come a sound from heaven with such a baptism of the Holy Ghost to take her off this earth’. And that’s what believers believe and are looking forward to.
12. What final thoughts or words of encouragement would you like to share with our readers through this interview?
It’s very simple. There’s a promise left for the Bride of Christ in Joel 2, a three phase ministry. And it spoke of the former and the latter rain coming for her. It will be a great outpouring of the Spirit of God. The former rain, which is a teaching rain, seed sowing time, has already gone forth. She is now waiting for the latter rain which is the harvest rain or Rapturing faith. So, there’s a ministry left for us here as declared in Joel 2 and Ephesians 4 for the perfecting of the Saints. See?! Not the perfecting of God but the saints. Let no one fall short of that promise through unbelief. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8. God has never at any time left the earth without a witness. The Bride of Christ is looking above for Charity rain of love to fill their hearts in a Rapturing Faith by the revelation of the Seven Thunders. I encourage everyone to run and hold on to the horns of the Altar according to Joel 2 part two, until these promises in Joel 2 part three are made manifest in our personal lives, in order to partake of the great rapture of the Saints in the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Why? Because only the Word made flesh by the Holy Spirit will go in the rapture. Amen.

In 2011 when all pentecostal churches were using arms security to secure their churches and I was driving to church with my family, my wife said that it’s only our church that doesn’t employ arms security, we all believe that we have an Angel who’s guarding the church
To my surprised when the service was going on I used my camera to snap, an after the service, the camera captured an armed military man on high port dress with full uniform, military purchase and crashed helmet
The angel knew I was the only military officer that can interpret that action
The meaning of Military man on high port is ready for combat.

I have tasted it. When you saw that tumor in my hand and told me if I believe I don’t need any surgery for it. I believed your word and held on to the promise of God. And while worshipping in the church with my hands lifted, the tumor disappeared with no trace of anything. It’s been several years now. That miracle set my whole family on fire for God. Till this day I’ve never been the same and will never be. God bless you sir for giving to the Lord. Joel 2 army is alive today for real.
