Fidelity Bank Reaffirms CSR Commitment, Donate Essencos to Yaba Old People’s Home

Fidelity Bank Plc, a leading financial institution in Nigeria, documented its continued dedication to corporate social responsibility, donating food and essential items to the Old People’s Home in Yaba, Lagos.

The donation was spearheaded by members of the bank’s Nexus Inductees Class under the Fidelity Helping Hands Programme (FHHP); a staff-driven CSR initiative that empowers employees across Fidelity Bank branches to identify critical needs in their communities, raise funds, and implement impactful projects. The bank’s management complements staff donations by matching the raised funds to double the impact of each initiative.

Speaking during the donation, Dr. Meksley Nwagboh, Divisional Head of Brand and Communications at Fidelity Bank, reiterated the bank’s commitment to uplifting its host communities.

“The community is an essential part of our success story. At Fidelity Bank, we believe that giving back is not just a responsibility, but a moral obligation. Through initiatives like the FHHP, we continue to deliver lasting value beyond banking,” Dr. Nwagboh said.

Adetutu Ipaye, Director-in-Charge at the Yaba Old People’s Home, expressed deep appreciation for the gesture.
