Group Charges FRSC to Minimize Road Traffic Accidents on Highways
The Federal Capital Territory, FCT, chapter of Anambra State Towns People Association (ASTPA) has charged the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, to do more in order to minimize the increasing rate of road crashes on the nation’s highways

President General of the group Chief Arinze Anadu gave the charge during an interaction with journalists in Abuja when ASTPA’s former Secretary, Ngozi Chukwujekwu and others recently promoted were decorated with their new ranks.

Chief Anadu, though admitted that the FRSC has been striving to curb road traffic accidents as part of their core mandate, he added that they should put more effort into the discharge of their duties to assist night travellers.

He advised the ASTPA former Secretary, Ngozi Chukwujekwu and others to put in their best in service so as to earn more promotions.

Chukwujekwu, who was promoted to the rank of Chief Road Commander of the FRSC, said that the promotion would spur her to selflessly do more in the discharge of her duties.

Earlier in an interview, the Assistant Corps Marshall, ACM, Zone 7, FCT and Niger State, Shehu Mohammed said that the promotion would lead to more responsibilities. He advised those promoted to ensure that they live up to expectations.
Chukwujekwu, who was promoted to the rank of Chief Road Commander of the FRSC, said that the promotion would spur her to selflessly do more in the discharge of her duties.
ACM Mohammed maintained that dedication to duty, loyalty and hard work were put into consideration in the latest promotion exercise. Other criteria deployed according to him were the ability to pass through the examinations, interviews, and yearly assessments for four years.
