Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola Olalomi, popularly known as Portable, has surrendered to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Yaba, Lagos, following his declaration as wanted by the Nigeria Police Force.

Lagos Police Command Spokesperson, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed that the musician is in custody in Lagos, saying that the Ogun State Police Command has been notified to take custody of the artist for further investigation and prosecution.
Portable was declared wanted over allegations of conspiracy, serious assault, going armed, conduct likely to cause a breach of public peace, and attempted murder. The charges stem from an incident on February 5, 2025, where Portable and his associates allegedly attacked officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development at the Ota Zonal Office.
The officials were reportedly assaulted while performing their lawful duties at Odogwu Bar, owned by Portable. Nine of Portable’s associates were arrested and arraigned, while Portable remained at large until his recent surrender.
Prior to turning himself in, Portable had publicly denied the allegations, demanding evidence of the purported assault and expressing concerns over attempts to tarnish his reputation.
With Portable now in custody, the Ogun State Police Command is expected to proceed with legal actions.
