The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State has officially approved Lukman Ejalonibu, popularly known as Ejalon, as the new State Youth Leader of the party. Ejalonibu, who hails from Ijebu Ode Local Government Area, is not new to the party structure and grassroots engagement. He previously served as one of the party’s executive members at the local government level and has also played a key role as Head of Production with the Lado Media Team, where he contributed to political communication and media coordination efforts.
His appointment is being viewed within party circles as a strategic move aimed at strengthening youth participation, revitalising grassroots mobilisation, and enhancing internal cohesion among young party members across Ogun State. According to party insiders, his emergence reflects the confidence of the state leadership in his capacity to drive a more organised and impactful youth structure ahead of future political engagements.

In his acceptance message, Ejalonibu called for unity and renewed commitment among PDP youths, stressing the need for collective effort in building a stronger and more inclusive party base.
