Military: Strides of Major General Kevin Aligbe When He Took Command of TRADOC Nigerian Army

…Pledged to build on and sustain the positive legacies of his predecessor

Major General Kevin Aligbe assumed command as the 44th Commander Training and Doctrine Command Nigerian Army (TRADOC NA) Minna, Niger State on June 29, 2023 and there has been such robust morale among officers and men of the Command.

In his maiden speech, the new Commander, General Kevin Aligbe thanked the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja for finding him worthy to be appointed as the 44th Commander TRADOC NA and pledged to sustain the legacies of his predecessor.

He said that under the pragmatic leadership of the COAS, that he would ensure that no stone was left unturned in achieving greater heights for TRADOC and Nigerian Army, generally.

General Aligbe applauded his predecessor for his impactful tour of duty at the Command, describing him as a dedicated infantry General of all seasons, who unarguably has been a mentor to many officers and soldiers, saying his legacies would remain and eloquent testimony of professionalism and also, a positive reference for those coming behind.

Since that maiden speech, General Aligbe has been matching words with action, while enjoining the officers and men to be dedicated for their duties and be willing to take on new tasks that the job requires. He assured them of necessary support and importantly, access to him through the authorized channels, to enable every of the personnel to contribute their quota to making the Nigerian Army maintain its enviable status.
