Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was absent on Tuesday during the flag-off of the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign rally, in Jos, Plateau state.
The APC Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu had earlier stated that his party would present a flag to its presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, who he said, gave out his slot to be Buhari’s running mate to Osinbajo.
While President Muhammadu Buhari was present at the rally, Vice President, Osinbajo was missing.
However, it is not clear why the Vice President was not at the campaign rally.
A few weeks ago, many had observed that Osinbajo was not a member of the APC Presidential Campaign Council headed by President Buhari.
It was alleged that Osinbajo had deliberately distanced himself from Tinubu’s campaign committee for personal reasons.
It was also alleged that Osinbajo was still bitter about losing the APC presidential primary election to Tinubu.
