Rihanna’s Beverly Hills residence came under gunfire on Sunday afternoon when a woman opened fire from a vehicle across the street, with the singer reportedly inside the home at the time, according to multiple U.S. media outlets.

The incident occurred shortly after 1:00 p.m. local time (2000 GMT) on March 8, 2026. Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to reports of shots fired at the gated mansion, where Rihanna lives with her partner A$AP Rocky and their two young children.

The suspect, a woman in her 30s, allegedly fired approximately 10 rounds from a vehicle parked across the street, at least one bullet pierced a wall of the residence, though no injuries were reported inside the home.

Rihanna was confirmed to be present in the house during the shooting, per KTLA and the Los Angeles Times, the suspect fled the scene but was quickly apprehended a short distance away without incident. The Los Angeles Police recovered a firearm during the arrest. The woman is currently in custody, and the motive remains under investigation.
