The results of the Nigerian Law School has been released. Despite a high failure rate, 72 students emerged with First Class Honours in the February Bar Final Examinations for the Backlog Set, representing 1.3% of the total 5,674 candidates.

The results were released by the Nigerian Law School, management led by Prof. Isa Hayatu Chiroma, SAN, and approved by the Council of Legal Education, chaired by Chief Emeka Ngige, SAN. During the release of results,
A breakdown of results revealed some interesting record showing that 72 students representing 1.3%, 608 students had Second Class Upper (10.7%), 2098 students had Second Class Lower (37.0%) and 1650 students had a Pass representing 29.1% of the candidates.

Others include 229 students who had Conditional Pass which is representative of 4.0% of the students, 994 students (17.5%) failed, 23 students were absent, which is 0.4% and one student was deceased before the final examination.
Additionally, results for 23 students whose results were withheld due to various disciplinary or administrative reasons were seriously upbraided by the Chairman, Council of Legal Education, Chief Emeka Ngige, SAN.
