Nigerian socialite and music promoter Sam Larry has broken his silence for the first time since surviving a road accident that claimed the life of his bouncer.
The accident reportedly occurred over the weekend along the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway when the vehicle conveying Sam Larry and his bouncer collided with a trailer. While the promoter survived and is receiving treatment, his bouncer died in the crash.

Speaking during a live video from his hospital bed, Sam Larry reassured fans that his condition is improving and revealed he is expected to be discharged soon.
However, he disclosed that he is currently unable to walk and will have to rely on a wheelchair for some time during his recovery.
“I’m doing well. I’m expected to be discharged from the hospital soon. The only issue I’m facing right now is that I can’t walk, so I’ll be using a wheelchair, and God knows till when. But, I’m grateful to be alive,” he said.

Sam Larry also addressed the negative speculation and comments that followed news of the accident.
“I’ve seen a lot of negative speculation surrounding this accident. The God I serve knows the truth; I am innocent,” he added.
The incident has generated significant public interest and online discussion, with many expressing condolences to the family of the deceased bouncer while wishing Sam Larry a speedy recovery.
