Samsung Electronics unveiled its latest lineup of foldable smartphones and wearables at the Galaxy Unpacked event today in Paris, where they showcased the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, Z Flip 7 FE, and Galaxy Watch 8 series. The Galaxy Z Fold 7, Samsung’s slimmest foldable at 8.9mm folded and 215 grams, features a 6.5-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X cover display and an 8-inch main display. Its Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset powers storage options up to 1TB, while a 200MP main camera, 10MP telephoto, and 12MP ultrawide deliver AI-enhanced imaging. With a 4,400mAh battery and Android 16 with One UI 8, it integrates Google Gemini Live for features like Writing Assist and upgraded Circle to Search. Priced from $1,999.99, it’s available for pre-order in Blue Shadow, Silver Shadow, Jet Black, and Mint, with sales starting July 25.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7, the slimmest in its series at 6.5mm unfolded, sports a 4.1-inch Super AMOLED cover display and a 6.9-inch main display. Powered by the Exynos 2500 chipset with 12GB RAM, it offers a 50MP main camera and a 4,300mAh battery. Galaxy AI features like ProVisual Engine and Transcript Assist enhance functionality. It starts at $1,099.99 in Blue, Black, Coral Red, and Mint.

The Z Flip 7 FE, a budget-friendly option, features a 3.4-inch cover display, 6.7-inch main display, and Exynos 2400 chipset with 8GB RAM. Its 50MP camera and 4,000mAh battery support Galaxy AI tools like Note Assist. Priced at $899.99 in Black and White, it’s an accessible foldable entry.

The Galaxy Watch 8 series, including 40mm and 44mm models and the 46mm Classic, introduces a sleeker squircle design and the Exynos W1000 chipset. Running Wear OS 6 with One UI 8 Watch, it offers a 3,000-nit AMOLED display, Sapphire Glass, and advanced health tracking via a BioActive Sensor for heart rate and antioxidant levels. As the first smartwatch with Google Gemini Live, it supports natural language queries. Pricing starts at $349.99 for the Watch 8 and $499.99 for the Classic, available in Graphite, Silver, and Blue (Watch Ultra).

Samsung emphasized sustainability with recycled ocean plastic across devices. All run Android 16 with One UI 8 and Knox Enhanced Encrypted Protection. Pre-orders began July 9, with sales starting July 25. The event focused on foldables and wearables, with no tri-fold phone or XR headset announced.
