The graduation ceremony, held at the Redemption Camp along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, showcased the church’s unwavering commitment to theological training and leadership development. Graduates received certificates, diplomas, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees after completing various ministry and theological programmes at the institution.

Delivering his address at the ceremony, Pastor Alabi Oti, Provost of RCBC, said the achievement was an eloquent testament of the college’s dedicated pursuit of excellence in theological education, both within Nigeria and internationally.

“In the 2024/2025 academic year at RCBC, we thank God for the opportunity to graduate a total of 6,760 students. Amidst the challenges in Nigeria and the world, God gave us a bountiful harvest,” Pastor Oti stated.

He expressed appreciation to the leadership of RCCG, particularly Pastor E.A. Adeboye, for his spiritual and administrative guidance that has helped stabilize the college’s operations.

Pastor Oti also highlighted RCBC’s ongoing academic affiliations with Redeemer’s University and the University of Ibadan, with special mention of the Diploma in Youth Ministry programme run in collaboration with Redeemer’s University. He disclosed that 13 youth provincial leaders were among this year’s graduating class under the diploma programme.

He called on the RCCG Youth and Young Adult Ministries to consider making the Diploma in Youth Ministry mandatory for all youth pastors, to strengthen leadership capacity at that level of ministry.

In his remarks, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, General Overseer of RCCG, fondly called Daddy G.O., blessed the graduates and prayed for divine guidance and supernatural support as they step into their various callings and assignments in the Lord’s vineyard.

“The Almighty God who has helped you thus far will not abandon you. You will not leave here with just certificates but with God’s anointing, backing, and support. You will not fail Him, nor will you disappoint yourselves,” he declared.

A notable highlight of the graduation ceremony was a powerful message titled “Every Knee Must Bow,” delivered by the keynote speaker, Pastor Charles Achonwa of Doulous Ministries. In his address, he reminded the congregation that all creation exists for God’s pleasure and glory and urged everyone to honour and acknowledge God in their lives and ministries.

The 73rd Convention, themed “The Overcomers”, continues through the week with teachings, worship, and impartation services drawing millions of RCCG members and guests from around the world. Pastor E. A. Adeboye ministered at the Plenary session 1 of the Convention, on the topic: ‘Gathering of the overcomers’.
