The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, on Monday declared that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar will never become the President of Nigeria.
Wike made the emphatic statement while commissioning a major infrastructure project in Abuja.
“Atiku can never be President of Nigeria,” the outspoken FCT Minister said.

The remark comes amid ongoing political realignments and internal discussions within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as preparations for future elections gather momentum.
Wike, a prominent PDP chieftain and former Rivers State Governor, has been vocal about party leadership and direction in recent times.
The event, which attracted top government officials, traditional rulers, and political associates, provided the platform for Wike to address broader national political issues while inaugurating the project designed to improve living conditions for residents of the Federal Capital Territory.
