Led in evidence by prosecution counsel Kemi Pinheiro (SAN), the witness testified pursuant to a subpoena and narrated the financial trail of a ₦2.1 billion loan disbursed to Keyless Nature Limited on December 14, 2021 (Exhibit AU). He confirmed the loan was fully utilised by the customer.

Egoro further disclosed that between December 24, 2021, and July 5, 2022, multiple credit entries from various Kogi State local government accounts were made into the same account. He specifically identified loan repayments (including interest) made on January 14, February 14, March 14, April 14, and May 16, 2022, stating that the source of funds for these repayments came from Kogi State local government areas.

The pattern continued consistently up to December 2022, with repayments occurring on the 14th of each month and sourced from LGAs.
Other Exhibits & Testimonies
Exhibit AJ (Westwood Limited account): On March 21, 2018, ₦818,698,262.29 was disbursed as principal loan. Between April 8 and May 7, 2020, there were 35 cash deposits by various individuals at the Lokoja branch of Access Bank used to liquidate the loan — despite the account being domiciled at the National Assembly branch in Abuja.
Exhibit AH1 (Kogi State Government House account): From December 2018 to August 2019, there were numerous inflows followed by immediate cash withdrawals. Names such as Aminu Jimoh Olarenwaju and Abdulsalami Hudu featured prominently. The bank filed Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) to the NFIU due to transactions not aligning with the customer profile. Examples include ₦100 million withdrawn in ₦10 million tranches on January 15–16, 2019, and ₦300 million withdrawn in ₦10 million tranches on August 1, 2019.
Exhibit AP (Fazab Business Enterprise): Multiple inflows from Kogi LGAs in May–July 2022 totaling ₦241,631,142.99, followed by ₦203,900,000 cash withdrawals by Yakubu Adabenege Siyaka. Most withdrawals were structured to evade STR thresholds.
Exhibit AO (Hayzma Business Enterprise): Similar pattern of LGA inflows in August 2022 followed by immediate cash withdrawals by Siyaka.
Exhibit AT (Keyless Nature Limited): Inflows from Kogi LGAs from January to July 2022, followed by transfers including ₦20 million and ₦80 million to related accounts and ₦20.5 million to Ejadams Essence Limited.

Under cross-examination by P.B. Daudu (SAN), counsel to the first and second defendants, the witness confirmed he was not the relationship manager but a compliance officer, and that banks are prohibited by law from disclosing STRs to the public.
