While addressing Journalists recently in his office in Abuja, Egwuekwe emphasized the need for the government to prioritize local manufacturers by providing incentives, patronizing their products, and offering tax incentives.

He also stressed the importance of reducing the high electricity tariff, which he believes would serve as an encouragement to local manufacturers.
Amongst key demands by Chief Emeka Egwuekwe, include providing incentives for local manufacturers; providing financial incentives to support the growth of local industries; patronizing local products, by encouraging government agencies to prioritize the purchase of locally manufactured goods.
Others are in the areas of tax incentives, by offering tax breaks to local manufacturers to reduce their financial burden; supporting local industries, by providing necessary support to enable local manufacturers to continue contributing to the economy; reducing electricity tariff, by lowering the high electricity tariff to make it more affordable for manufacturers.
