Aleghe Congratulates Okpebholo, Idahosa On Inauguration as Edo Governor, Deputy

Dr. Sunnie Aleghe, a respected security expert, stakeholder, and community leader, has extended his congratulations to Governor Monday Okpebholo and his deputy, Dennis Idahosa, following their inauguration on Monday to lead Edo State for the next four years.

In a statement released from his Klass Group corporate headquarters in Magodo, Lagos, Aleghe described the swearing-in as a significant moment marking renewed hope and active development for Edo State, as he urged the new leadership to hit the ground running as Edo need rapid response activism.

He emphasized that the new administration has a unique advantage, as Governor Okpebholo hails from among the people, granting him a deep understanding of the state’s specific needs. Aleghe expressed confidence that this would inspire citizens to align with the governor’s vision for a modernized Edo State.

“This is good moment for all Edo people because we have a governor who is from among the people and understands the peculiar needs of our people, which will make things easy for him, in terms of inspiring the citizens to share in his vision for a modern Edo State”, stated Aleghe.

Aleghe assured Governor Okpebholo of broad support from stakeholders as the state enters this transformative period. He urged those who opposed the election results to prioritize the state’s welfare and collaborate with the new administration to foster sustainable development.

“I want to assure his Excellency that he has our support as the state embarks on a new journey rediscovery and verifiable progress under Okpebholo’s leadership”

“The inauguration is very important and we are calling on all opposers to the momentous victory to sheath their swords and put the interest of Edo first and join the new efforts to enable the administration work hard for the people and leave sustainable footprints of development”

The security expert also highlighted critical areas for the administration to focus on, including security, healthcare, economic growth, MSME support, roads, infrastructures, dilapidated educational assets and inclusive governance, saying “these areas reflect the pressing needs of Edo citizens during challenging times.
