Alhaji Prince Yusuf Asamah Kadiri, SAN, has scheduled a critical townhall meeting with sons and daughters of the Auchi Sacred Kingdom, Edo State, by 4.00 PM on Monday June, 17, 2024 at the Otaru Town Hall, Inu Umoru Street, behind Unity Bank, Auchi.

Prince Asamah, who has thrown his hat into the political ring where he is currently running as the deputy governor candidate for the Labour Party (LP) alongside the Olumide Osaigbovo Akpata’s gubernatorial ticket in the forthcoming election in Edo State, disclosed that the Townhall meeting aims to engage with both the young and older indigenes of Auchi to discuss socio-political and economic changes that impacts community development.

The legal luminary who holds the traditional title of Yerima of Auchi Sacred Kingdom, while urging participation in this important event, expressed that he is dedicated to fostering dialogue within the community to address key issues and secure inclusive benefits in the democratic landscape.
He emphasized that the Townhall meeting was part of his ongoing efforts to create valuable platforms for all sons and daughters of Auchi to discuss and highlight issues affecting them, in order to articulate a common position for vigorous contestation within the political space.

The organizers have stated that the Town Hall meeting would feature keynote speeches from influential community leaders and will also, be an opportunity for Prince Yusuf Asamah Kadiri, SAN, to provide an overview of his political mission, goals, and upcoming initiatives that will put the Auchi Sacred Kingdom in good stead to enjoy more dividends of democracy.

Overall, participants will have the chance to discuss leadership, empowerment, and community development with the Labour Party deputy gubernatorial candidate.
