Members and the Executives of Osaro Onaiwu Support Group (Osaro Onaiwu 2024) have congratulated the Winners of the recently concluded local government elections, in Edo state.
Commenting on the election, the group expressed satisfaction and congratulated the winners
” In a special way, we congratulate the Executive Governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin Obaseki who provided the needed resources and manpower to enable the people of the state to have a credible and violence-free election.
“We Congratulate the State Chairman of our Party, Rt. Hon. (Dr) Tony Azirgbemi and the entire PDP Family for the acute mobilization of its members that resulted in a landslide victory for the party. It is indeed a great sign of our party’s acceptability, strength, and growth.
“We urge all elected officers to dispense their constitutional duties with utmost sincerity.
They noted that the Local Government; being the third tier of Government is strategically positioned to meet the immediate needs of its constituents.
“On this note, we urge all elected officers to be sensitive and responsive to the needs of their people.
“For the rural Local Government Areas, we urge the LG executives to look into expanding the business base of this area and help prevent this massive rural-urban drift. Keen attention should be paid to improving the ease of doing business, while we look forward to your inauguration. Please accept our hearty congratulations.
