Girl, 4, Kills Self With Dad’s Car

A girl about four years old killed herself with her father’s car yesterday, May 23, 2023.

The impossible happened quickly when the dad was taking the child to school.

After starting the car, he remembered he forgot something in the house at Akanfe Street, Sabainah Close, White House Bus-stop, after Toyin Bus-stop, Agbado Road, Iju-Ishaga.

The father left the car revving with the daughter inside.

The impossible tragedy began treading the path of possibility as the child put the car into gear, opened the door, and came out.

The car instead of speeding to a halt by hitting something, was explained that it was moving at snail speed until the baby girl entered its front and it crawled over her, crushing her and her head.

Nobody was outside at the time of the tragedy

As the dad returned to continue with the journey, he was the first person to notice the tragedy that threw the whole street into wailing and mourning.

The mother who had gone somewhere came back to see the crushed baby, and the wailing heightened.

“It was as if the Devil and demons orchestrated the tragedy to bring sadness to the family and the neighborhood.

“Even up to this morning, neighbors are still devastated, asking so many ‘if’ questions”, a resident of the street, told DDNEWS

Meanwhile, the mother of the deceased has remained inconsolable, according to another eye-witness.
