The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has unveiled the NFF Monthly Awards, a new initiative aimed at recognizing and celebrating the exceptional performances of Nigerian footballers, both at home and abroad. This includes players in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) as well as those playing internationally.
With the football season now in full swing, the awards seek to highlight the brilliance, dedication, and passion that Nigerian footballers bring to the sport.

The selection process is based on a scientific approach, where an independent organization will collect and analyze player statistics to ensure fair and accurate nominations. This data-driven method ensures that the best players, based on their performance and contribution to their teams, are selected.
NOMINATIONS AND VOTING:
• Nominations: The first round of nominees will be announced on 3rd October, 2024.
• Voting: After the nominations, fans and journalists will have one week (until midnight on 7th October, 2024) to cast their votes on the official NFF voting portal at www.thenff.com.
Votes from fans will account for 40% of the final decision, while journalists and industry professionals will contribute 60%, ensuring a balanced outcome.
