Liverpool FC has officially unveiled a permanent memorial at Anfield honoring Diogo Jota and his brother André Silva, nearly a year after their tragic passing in July 2025.
Titled ‘FOREVER 20’, the tribute celebrates the lives of the brothers, their deep bond, and the love and respect felt by family, teammates, and supporters around the world.

At the heart of the memorial stands a flowing HEART SCULPTURE, a poignant nod to Diogo Jota’s iconic goal celebration that became a symbol of joy and passion for Reds fans. The design is crafted to reveal the numbers 20 and 30 when viewed from different angles — the shirt numbers worn by Diogo and André during their careers.
The unveiling ceremony at Anfield was attended by Liverpool players, staff, Jota’s family, and hundreds of supporters who gathered to pay their respects. Club CEO Billy Hogan described the memorial as “a lasting place of remembrance that reflects the spirit, talent, and brotherhood that Diogo and André embodied.”

Jota, 28, and Silva, 25, died in a car accident in northern Portugal last July, just weeks after Jota had helped Liverpool secure the Premier League title. The news sent shockwaves through the football world, with tributes pouring in from across Europe.
Since then, Anfield has become a focal point for fan tributes, with scarves, shirts, and flowers left at the Shankly Gates. The ‘FOREVER 20’ memorial now provides a permanent space for supporters to honor the brothers’ legacy.
