Nigerian’s international singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, who was recently nominated for Grammy award, joined several prominent individuals to also send his heartfelt message of congratulation to Ghana’s President elect, His Excellency John Mahama, on his well-deserved election victory, saying it represents a refreshing comeback.

The singer posted a picture of himself holding a “John Mahama victory 2024″ branded coffee mug when he tagged Mahama.
It will be recalled that Nigerian President Bola Tinubu had earlier congratulated Mahama on his victory, praising the peaceful conduct of the elections and the concession of defeat by Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Born on November 21, 1992, in Atlanta, Georgia, David Adedeji Adeleke is celebrated for his innovative combination of Afrobeats, Afropop, and hip-hop.
The music career of Davido took off after the release of his debut single “Back When” in 2011. His debut album “Omo Baba Olowo”, launched in 2012, included hit singles like “Dami Duro” and “Ekuro”.
Throughout his career, Davido has engaged in high-profile collaborations with prominent artists such as Meek Mill, Young Thug, and Chris Brown. He has also garnered numerous accolades, including the BET Award for Best International Flow and the MTV Africa Music Award for Best Male Act.
In 2016, Davido entered into a recording contract with Sony Music and subsequently established his own record label, Davido Music Worldwide (DMW). He has since released several successful albums, including “A Good Time” and “A Better Time”.
