Earl Osaro Onaiwu, the founding Director General of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Governors Forum (PDPGF) and former Director General of the Nigerian Governors Forum, has announced his decision to quit partisan politics.
In a recent statement released in Abuja to the media on June 8, 2024, Onaiwu cited his desire to focus on nation-building and community development as the reason for his decision.
Onaiwu, who also served as the coordinator of the Nigerian Governors Forum, mentioned his intention to spend more time with his family and concentrate on his business interests. He expressed a strong desire to make a positive impact on his community and contribute to the development of the nation. According to him, “I have decided to quit partisan politics to focus on nation building and community development.”
“I want to make a positive impact on my community and contribute to the development of our great nation. I believe that this is the best decision for me and my family at this time”, said Onaiwu.
