The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy and leader of the All Progressives Congress in Osun State, Dr. Adegboyega Oyetola, has urged voters across the state to support the party’s governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, in Saturday’s election.

Oyetola made the call on Wednesday in Inisa, Odo-Otin Local Government Area, while addressing APC leaders, stakeholders and supporters during an interactive meeting ahead of the August 15 governorship election.

Oyetola said residents across the state deserved equitable access to government projects and essential public services regardless of their location.

He urged APC members to remain united and intensify their mobilisation efforts ahead of the election.

The minister also called on supporters to participate actively in the electoral process and remain vigilant against what he described as “vote manipulation and other electoral malpractices.”

Oyetola further acknowledged the support and endorsements given to Oyebamiji by former Osun State Governor Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Alhaji Shuaib Oyedokun and other political leaders in Odo-Otin Local Government Area.

Expressing confidence in the party’s chances, Oyetola said many residents had become dissatisfied with the performance of the incumbent administration.

“Our support must translate into votes on Saturday. We must come out in large numbers and ensure that our votes count,” he said.

The minister therefore urged APC supporters to remain committed to the party and work towards delivering victory for Oyebamiji at the polls.

The meeting attracted APC leaders, stakeholders, party faithful and supporters from across the area, with a large crowd welcoming Oyetola and his entourage to Inisa.
