As Anambra’s 2.8 million voters prepare to cast ballots in today’s governorship election, renowned prophet Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church has delivered a resounding prophecy: Incumbent Governor Charles Soludo’s reelection is “certain”, urging major challengers to “step down” in deference to his “unmatched performance.”

In a fresh “prophetic message” released on Friday hours before polls open at 8:30 a.m. Ayodele, whose predictions have stirred Nigerian politics for years, declared Soludo’s All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) victory inevitable, crediting the professor-governor’s strides in security, infrastructure, and economic revival. “Soludo’s personality and delivery guarantee APGA’s triumph. The opposition’s noise can’t drown divine will,” the Lagos-based cleric stated in a video address, shared via his church’s channels and going viral across Anambra’s WhatsApp groups.
“Governor Soludo will retain power. Ifeanyi Ubah could have beaten him if alive, but no one else stands a chance. APC and LP should step down – it’s over.” — Primate Elijah Ayodele, November 7, 2025
Ayodele’s vision aligns with earlier warnings from September, where he cautioned Soludo against “backdoor rigging attempts” and post-election court battles, advising beefed-up security and strategic appointments. He dismissed APC’s Nicholas Ukachukwu as “God-forsaken” without divine backing, LP’s George Moghalu as a “youth flash” lacking depth, and ADC’s John Chuma-Nwosu as “credible but sidelined.”
The prophecy, timed amid escalating tensions from trader protests to Tinubu’s alleged APC tilt has electrified APGA faithful. Soludo, campaigning till midnight Thursday, hailed it as “divine endorsement of our transformation agenda,” vowing to deliver “evidence-based governance.”

Ayodele, known for 2023’s spot-on Obi warnings and 2021’s Anambra violence forecast, urged voters: “Ignore moneybags conscience wins.” With INEC deploying BVAS at 5,718 units and 2,233 buses for logistics, security is tripled in flashpoints like Ogbaru and Idemili.
As results stream to IReV, Ayodele’s words hang heavy: Will divine decree or democratic drama prevail in Anambra’s “two-horse race”?
