The victory marks a remarkable return to Europe’s biggest stage for the Gunners, who last reached the Champions League final in 2006 when they lost to Barcelona.
In a fiery post-match press conference, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta vowed that his team is not just aiming to participate but to make history by going unbeaten throughout the competition and lifting the trophy.

“We’re not just here to participate. We’re here to go unbeaten — and still lift the Champions League,” Arteta declared. “No English team has ever done that. We will break the world record, and we will win, no matter who qualifies between PSG and Bayern Munich.”
Arsenal have been unbeaten in this season’s Champions League knockout stages, combining defensive solidity with clinical attacking play. Saka, Martin Ødegaard, and Declan Rice have been central to their success.

Saka, who has contributed 12 goals and 9 assists in Europe this season, dedicated the win to the club’s loyal supporters.
“It’s been 20 years since we were here. This is for every Arsenal fan who kept believing,” he said.
The Gunners will now await the winner of the other semi-final between Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich for the final showdown at Wembley on May 30.
